Seasoned Hardwood Firewood:
Shop for the following seasoned mixed hardwood varieties for your fireplace, wood-burning stove, fire pit, or wood oven. Please note that we do not offer separate firewood; it is all mixed.
- Maple - it is easily available and it provides good heat.
- Ash - it is ideal for burning in a wood stove, provides a steady fire, and splits easily. It produces an adequate amount of heat as it is a clean burning hardwood. It doesn't have a strong aroma and won't leave your hands pitchy either.
- Cherry - a popular wood for burning in fireplaces since it has a pleasant, non-smoky aroma. It burns at medium heat and does not produce much smoke.
- Walnut - has medium density and is relatively easy to burn. It burns clean and has a pleasant aroma.
- Chestnut - a great choice for outdoor fireplaces. It doesn’t burn as hot as other woods, but it is moderately priced and easy to split.
- Oak - known for its long and slow burns, it is in high demand for wood stoves. It's probably one of the all-around best logs for a wood-burning stove. It's an excellent burning wood and produces high-heat BTUs.

Nolan Tree offers the following mixed supreme firewood which all produce high-heat BTUs. The term firewood BTU is used to describe the amount of energy produced by a fuel. Please note that we do not offer separate firewood; it is all mixed.
- Hickory - considered one of the best woods for burning, it produces a higher heat than oak, maple, and other popular hardwoods. It is a dense hardwood that retains little moisture and burns very well. Most professional chefs consider it to be the best fuel for cooking and smoking. It has a high BTU and gives off a wonderful aroma.
- Beech - with a high BTU of 27.5, it's considered one of the best firewood’ for heating your home.
- Locust - it burns slowly and produces little smoke and high heat.
